Labiaplasty, also known as Labioplasty, is a procedure to modify the size or shape of the labia (the folds of skin or ‘lips’ at the entrance to the vagina). This procedure, although not often discussed, is becoming increasingly popular as women realise that something can be done to improve the physical and emotional discomfort associated with excessively long labia. This is one of the commonest procedures that Dr Boorer performs and many women report feeling much more comfortable talking to a female surgeon about their concerns.
